Praise the Lord!
Dearest Pastor John Shin,
I am Rajiv Prasad, used to be a so
called Pentecostal Christian before actually knowing the gospel
of the water and Spirit. I really thank God for revealing the truth
to me and some of my friends through you. Dear Pastor, I love You.
Dear Pastor, I request you to excuse my mistakes in this letter
as I am very unsystematic at writing letters. This is my first letter
so you may find it very lengthy because here I have a lot of things
to tell you and a lot of things to ask you.
Let me tell you a bit (a relative word......!!!)
about me.
I am 22 years old (born on august 2,
1979) boy from Mumbai (which was Bombay previously), a cosmopolitan
city situated near the coast of West India in the state of Maharashtra.
Originally, my parents are from a village which is near the borders
of India(in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh) and Nepal.
But my Dad came to Mumbai in 1966 for his job wherein we all(i.e.
my two elder sisters, my younger brother and me) were born. He comes
from a hindu family, while my mom comes from a buddhist family.
In India, people seem to be very religious but actually they are
agnostics, so is the case with my parents. Though they talk about
one true God, they have the picture of an impersonal god who does
not care for his people and is not interested in Heaven and Hell
and that there is no judgment. They have their own philosophies.
Under all these circumstances I got acquainted with the pseudo gospel
when I was doing my junior college, I accepted it and believed that
I was saved. I only believed in the blood of Jesus. I hardly thought
about the Baptism of Jesus. For me it was just a ritual performed
by Jesus so that He may set an example so that later we may perform
it following His example. But now after I read your book I know
that I was highly mistaken. I know this because though all the youth
in our church, in spite of their belief that they are saved, have
the terrible problem of sin, including me. We were all confused
but we were asked by our Pastor not to question the works of the
Holy Spirit. If we questioned then we were termed as being deceived
by Satan, so we all kept quiet-suppressing the questions arising
in our hearts. Though we were seemingly baptized in the Spirit,
we had conflicts within the church. There is a race among the believers
to prove the superior spirituality than the other believers. Speaking
in tongues is emphasized more than salvation. Ministry is dumped
upon people who are not even matured. People are compelled to take
care cells. It is not love of Christ that compels the people of
our church(including myself) to do ministry but the fear of the
Pastor. All the manifestations were taken as criteria for being
more close to God (i.e. the more you speak in tongues the more closer
to God you are..............how sad of them!). My best friend Harish
and I, always wanted to find an answer for all the rising questions
we had in our mind but we couldn't phrase them in words. We were
thirsty and God used your book as an instrument to show us the way
to the water which would quench our thirst. I was just surfing through
the internet when I came across your website and I ordered for your
books and now my life has taken a 180 degrees turn. The Lord works
in such incomprehensible ways. Thanks be to Our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ. Now we are a small group of believers who want to
know more about the truth and since we all are all from Hindu background,
we would like you to really help us in our Caută for truth. I would
like you to send us at least ten copies (if possible for you) of
each of your books( three English and one Hindi). If you have any
representative in Mumbai who could help us in growing and accepting
the truth the way it should be accepted please let us know or if
possible Pastor can you come to Bombay and meet us?. We really need
someone who has the true indwelling of the Holy Spirit to lead us.
Dear Pastor, Please help me and my friends to start the work of
our Lord Jesus in ourselves and then in the people. Yesterday, Harish
and I shared this beautiful gospel to one of our evangelist friends
who now feels that this is what he always longed for and now God
has given him what he wanted.............The Truth.
I would like to give a brief tabulated form of introduction of all
my friends and me, who would like to meet you and grow more and
more and be a witness of the true Gospel by we ourselves being born-again
first.

We all need your four books each.(
All the three books of yours published in English and the one published
in Hindi). Also Pastor, we would like you to ask you if we could
help you in translating the other two books of yours in Hindi and
all the three books in Marathi. If yes please let us know so that
we may start our work and send it to you for proof reading and correction.
I have so many things to say but as I told you I always fall short
of words and also my letters are never systematic. Dear Pastor,
please let us know how we can be a part of your mission in India
and how we will be assisted by you and your people. I am giving
the address where you may send all the books, since Christian literature
are not welcome in our homes, so we would collect it from the address
given below. Also let us know whether there are study Bibles available
which have notes supporting the True Gospel because the Bible which
I have is having explanation with the Pentecostal perspective in
mind. Pastor please do it as soon as possible so that we may all
start our regular fellowship and decide the timings and meeting
place.
Thanking You
Yours in CHRIST
