[6-8] You Must Believe That John the Baptist Is The Representative of All Mankind (Matthew 11:1-19)
“Now it came to pass, when Jesus finished commanding His twelve disciples, that He departed from there to teach and to preach in their cities. And when John had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples and said to Him, ‘Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?’ Jesus answered and said to them, ‘Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.’ As they departed, Jesus began to say to the multitudes concerning John: ‘What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind? But what did you go out to see? A man clothed in soft garments? Indeed, those who wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses. But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I say to you, and more than a prophet. For this is he of whom it is written:
‘Behold, I send My messenger before Your face,
Who will prepare Your way before You.’
Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. And if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah who is to come. He who has ears to hear, let him hear! But to what shall I liken this generation? It is like children sitting in the marketplaces and calling to their companions, and saying:
‘We played the flute for you,
And you did not dance;
We mourned to you,
And you did not lament.’
For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon.’ The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ But wisdom is justified by her children.’”
John the Baptist was a servant of God, who lived alone in the wilderness and whose food was locusts and honey. He wore clothes made out of camel’s hair, sleeping and eating in the wilderness. That’s why regarding John the Baptist, Jesus said the following: “Why did you go out into the wilderness? Did you go out to see a reed shaken by the wind? Or a man clothed in soft garments? Indeed, those who wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses! Didn’t you go out into the wilderness to see John the Baptist? Yes. John the Baptist is the greatest of those born of women. He is greater than all the prophets of the Old Testament.”
Jesus said this because John the Baptist was really the greatest of those born of women. He was raised by God to be the representative of all mankind. In God’s sight, John the Baptist was greater than all the countless judges and prophets of the Old Testament, from Moses to Joshua, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Obadiah, Haggai, and the rest.
What did Jesus call John the Baptist? He called John the Baptist a messenger of God. Describing John the Baptist, the Lord quoted a passage from the Old Testament: “Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me” (Malachi 3:1). “My messenger” here refers to John the Baptist in the New Testament. God the Father had sent him to this earth six months prior to the birth of Jesus Christ. So as the one who was to prepare the way of Jesus Christ, John the Baptist gave baptism of repentance to people. Baptizing many people in the Jordan River, he called them to repent. Shouting out to the people of Israel, “Repent, you brood of vipers!” John the Baptist called them to turn around from their idolatry and return to God.
We Must Realize That John the Baptist Is the Greatest of Those Born of Women—That Is, He is the Representative of All Mankind
As Jesus Himself bore witness, John the Baptist is the greatest man among all those born of women. Although he was not the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven, on this earth, he was raised as the greatest of those born of women, and he was used by God as His greatest instrument. Why? Because it was through John the Baptist that Jesus Christ, God Himself, was baptized. God had raised John the Baptist as the representative of mankind, and it was through him that God accepted all the sins of the world onto His own body once and for all. Raised as the representative of mankind, John the Baptist was able to pass all the sins of this world to Jesus by baptizing Him once. John the Baptist was the only man in this world who could pass all the sins of this world to Jesus once and for all by baptizing Him.
However, some people doubt this and wonder, “Where is it written in the Bible that John the Baptist is the representative of mankind?” I can address this question with the following answer: John the Baptist is the representative of mankind because Jesus Himself said that he was the greatest of those born of women. I Have Every Confidence to Say That John the Baptist Is the High Priest of the Earth Who Passed the Sins of the World to Jesus
I can say this with every confidence because of what Jesus Himself said in Matthew 11:13, “For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.” It is none other than John the Baptist who worked to bring all the Law and prophecies of the Old Testament to be completed in Jesus Christ. In the Old Testament, the High Priest had passed the sins of the people of Israel on the Day of Atonement by laying his hands on the sacrificial animal. Likewise, John the Baptist, who came to fulfill the same spiritual ministry as that of Elijah, passed all the sins of this world to Jesus once and for all by baptizing Him. In other words, Jesus is saying that He has saved us from the sins of the world by “thus” shouldering them all (Matthew 3:15).
The Bible says, “‘Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,’ which is translated, ‘God with us’” (Matthew 1:23; Isaiah 7:14). To blot out all our sins, God Himself came to this earth through the body of the Virgin Mary, incarnated in the same flesh as ours. God had promised countless times in the Old Testament that Jesus Christ would come to this world and take upon Himself all its sins. This Truth, that Jesus would bear all the sins of the world once and for all through the baptism received from John the Baptist, was fulfilled by God according to the promise of His Word revealed in the Old Testament’s sacrificial system of salvation. None other than this is what is meant by the passage, “For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.”

You must believe this and be saved, that as the last prophet of the Old Testament, John the Baptist preached the will of God to save mankind from the sins of the world, and that through the baptism he gave to Jesus, he also passed the sins of the entire human race to Jesus Christ once and for all.

However, Many People Still Do Not Believe in This Fact
Many Christians do not understand the role of John the Baptist properly. As a sad result, they are unable to believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit. Like them, the Pharisees had also misunderstood John the Baptist and Jesus. So the Lord said, “For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon.’ The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ But wisdom is justified by her children” (Matthew 11:18-19). We humans are judged to be wise or foolish according on our acts. Who is then wise? The wise are those who understand the will of God and follow it with an obedient heart. And they are the ones who have the wisdom of Heaven even though they are devoid of earthly wisdom or knowledge.
The Bible says that the wisdom of Heaven is found in the gospel of the water and the Spirit, which has properly saved all mankind from all its sins once and for all. This wisdom was accomplished and revealed by Jesus Christ and John the Baptist when they were on this earth. How and with what kind of faith did Jesus Christ and John the Baptist obey God the Father when they came to this earth? How did they save all human beings from all their sins once and for all?
The method by which God has saved mankind from sin—that is, the wisdom of Heaven—says the following about the gospel of the water and the Spirit: “Jesus Christ came to this earth and saved mankind once and for all through His baptism received from John the Baptist, His death on the Cross, and His resurrection.” In other words, God’s wisdom is all contained in the gospel Truth of the water and the Spirit, the gospel through which God has saved sinners from their sins by sending His Son Jesus Christ to this earth. Jesus Christ, who was baptized by John the Baptist, is speaking of all the wisdom that came from Heaven in His baptism and His blood on the Cross (1 John 5:4-8).
To fulfill all these things, God the Father sent His Son to this earth. And to raise the Son as the Savior of mankind and to fulfill this work, the Father had sent John the Baptist to this earth six months earlier. God was preparing the way of our salvation by sending John the Baptist six months prior to Jesus’ birth. This was to fulfill our salvation through the baptism Jesus would receive later from John the Baptist. John the Baptist prepared and waited for 30 years to baptize Jesus Christ. Until he turned 30, he had waited for the day he would baptize Jesus. That’s because the sons of the High Priest of the Old Testament could be anointed as the High Priests and assume its duties only after they reached 30 years of age (Numbers 4:3). When John the Baptist turned 30, Jesus also turned 30, and as John the Baptist baptized Jesus Christ to pass the sins of this world, Jesus was able to fulfill all the righteousness of God.
By “thus” receiving the baptism that fulfills all the righteousness of God in the Jordan River, Jesus was able to save mankind from the sins of the world once and for all. By being baptized by John, Jesus took upon Himself the sins of this world, and having shouldered our sins, He shed His blood and died on the Cross, and rose from the dead. He was thereby able to fulfill the purpose for which He had come to this earth. That is how Jesus was able to save us, who now believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit, from all our sins.
The very fact that Jesus was baptized by John was none other than God’s wisdom, and it was the very work that brought salvation to us. Just how wisely did God blot out our sins to save us? The true wisdom of God was manifested in the baptism Jesus Christ received on this earth, the blood He shed, His death, and His resurrection. That’s why the Bible says, “Wisdom is justified by her children.”
If we were to build a house, we must sit down beforehand to plan ahead, come up with a budget, and get everything prepared. First of all, we have to decide the size of the house; second, we have to come up with an appropriate blueprint; and third, we have to calculate the cost. After this, we must then supply construction materials on appropriate times to appropriate places, and direct the laborers to work properly. Only then is a house built. A man who builds his house like this is a wise man. In contrast, someone who does not have any plan or budget will work randomly, only to give up in the end without even building a proper foundation.
To fulfill our salvation, God revealed His amazing wisdom. Indeed, John the Baptist also obeyed the will of God that had been set up by His wisdom, and by doing so, he made it possible for all of us to be saved in Jesus Christ. We must therefore realize just how wisely God has saved everyone all over the world, you and me alike, from all its sins. We can see that by sending John the Baptist to this earth and making him carry out His work, God ensured that our salvation would be fulfilled with His justice and love. Through John the Baptist, the representative of mankind, God passed the sins of the world to Jesus Christ, having Him accept and bear all the sins of the world once and for all. Having thus shouldered all our sins, Jesus then shed His blood on the Cross, suffered our death, rose from the dead again, and thereby fulfilled our everlasting salvation.
None other than this is God’s wisdom. This is the very wisdom of God and the love that He fulfilled with His justice. All of us must obey God the Father by faith, realizing just how wisely and justly He has saved us from our sins and destruction.

Everyone Must Know and Believe in This Amazing Truth of Salvation
The Lord said to all of us, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” He also said to us, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow.” And the Lord says that He has already washed away our sins with the gospel of the water and the Spirit. Yet despite this, those who are deceived by liars in today’s Christianity are overlooking His perfect salvation. Even though Jesus has already blotted out our sins, people do not pay attention to this gospel Truth. They do not dance even as we who know the Truth play the flute for them, and they do not weep even as we point out their sins and hell-bound destiny. Today’s Christians and unbelievers alike are neither interested in the work of salvation that Jesus has done for them, nor worried about their sins and God’s condemnation. They even despise and stand against God’s work that He has done to save them from all their sins. Yet they don’t even realize the consequence of their own action.
However, in spite of all this, God has wisely saved everyone from all his sins once and for all through the gospel of the water and the Spirit. Everyone must realize God’s providence, love, and justice that have now made it possible for anyone to be saved without exception, if only he believes in the gospel of the water and the Spirit with his heart. To make the gospel of the water and the Spirit known to us, Jesus showed the wisdom of God by using John the Baptist. When God loves us so much like this through the gospel of the water and the Spirit, why on earth should we still remain bound by the sins of the world unable to be freed from them?
God the Father sent John the Baptist to this earth and made him baptize His Son Jesus Christ. By being baptized once by John the Baptist, Jesus accepted the sins of mankind once and for all. He then shed His blood on the Cross while shouldering the sins of the world, rose from the dead again, and has thereby saved all of us who believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit.
Just how amazing and wise is God’s salvation? Just how perfectly and justly has God saved us? None other than the gospel of the water and the Spirit is of God’s wisdom. It is in this gospel of the water and the Spirit that the wisdom of God is contained.
God’s wisdom has made it impossible for us not to believe in our salvation from sin that He has provided for us. With His wisdom, God has completely and perfectly blotted out all the sins of each and every one of us all at once. Through the role of John the Baptist, who baptized His Son Jesus Christ, God the Father ensured that all the sins of this world would be completely passed onto His Son, and by doing so, He has made us the believers in the gospel of the water and the Spirit completely and perfectly free from sin. What an amazing Truth and wisdom of God is this gospel of the water and the Spirit?
Through the power of God, Elijah had turned the people of Israel back to Jehovah God. And God the Father had promised to send Elijah again to this earth (Malachi 4:5-6), and He fulfilled this promise through John the Baptist. Elijah had been raptured in a chariot of fire. But God had promised that He would send him again to this earth, “Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD” (Malachi 4:5). The people of New Testament time were also waiting for this Elijah to come.
This Elijah was none other than John the Baptist. Just as Elijah had turned all the people of Israel back to Jehovah God, when John the Baptist came to this earth, he passed the sins of mankind to Jesus Christ by baptizing Him, and bore witness to everyone that Jesus was the very Savior to come. He testified of Jesus by declaring, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29), and with this testimony, he made everyone realize that Jesus shouldered all the sins of this world through the baptism He received from John. In other words, John the Baptist affirmed to the people of this world that whoever desired to know and believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit would be able to reach his salvation by faith. Thanks to the testimony of John the Baptist, if anyone just believes that Jesus Christ accepted all his sins through John the Baptist, he can now have all his sins washed away. Like this, God has fulfilled our salvation completely, so that anyone who believes in the gospel of the water and the Spirit would be saved from his sins by faith.
However, in spite of all this, God has wisely saved everyone from all his sins once and for all through the gospel of the water and the Spirit. Through the role of John the Baptist, who baptized His Son Jesus Christ, God the Father ensured that all the sins of this world would be completely passed onto His Son, and by doing so, He has made us the believers in the gospel of the water and the Spirit completely and perfectly free from sin. Through the power of God, Elijah had turned the people of Israel back to Jehovah God. Like this, God has fulfilled our salvation completely, so that anyone who believes in the gospel of the water and the Spirit would be saved from his sins by faith.

Just as the scapegoat in the Old Testament suffered the death of atonement after accepting the Israelites’ sins through the High Priest’s laying on of hands, so did Jesus shed His blood and suffer the death of atonement after He was baptized by John the Baptist.

When God eventually calls us back home, all that we have to do is just go to Him with hallelujah. But for now, we must still speak and preach about the heretics that reside in Christianity. Why? Because countless Christians are trapped in heresy, and without even realizing that they are heading to hell, they are all devoting themselves to false prophets. So on the one hand, we must let everyone grasp the reality of Christianity today, which has turned into nothing more than a collective heresy, and on the other hand, we must preach the gospel Truth of the water and the Spirit to everyone.
People tend to unconditionally trust in the doctrines of their own respective denominations. So they think, “As long as everyone believes as faithfully as possible, and abides in his denomination, then I don’t see any problem.” However, such people do not realize who are heretics in Christian communities. Everyone who belongs to a worldly Christian denomination must infallibly examine the gospel he now believes in to see how it’s different from the God-given gospel of the water and the Spirit. Yet despite this, most people have no desire to ruminate on the Word of God carefully, and so they just believe in Jesus halfheartedly, without even realizing that the gospel of the water and the Spirit is the true gospel. Honestly speaking, most of them do not even know that there is the gospel of the water and the Spirit. So when we preach to such people, “Only the gospel of the water and the Spirit is the real Truth,” they say, “Is there such a gospel in the Bible? Are you then saying that all these countless people are misbelieving? Is everyone who does not know the baptism of Jesus a misbeliever, even though he believes in Jesus as his Savior?”
The answer is yes. All such people are indeed misbelievers. What points out their misunderstanding and mistaken belief? The Bible, the everlasting Truth, clearly testifies that only the gospel of the water and the Spirit is the gospel of salvation, and that there is no other gospel. However, for these Christians to realize this, someone must teach them exactly what the difference is. That is why we are laboring so hard to preach the gospel of the water and the Spirit to them.

I had prayed to God on my knees, and I had even fasted, asking, “Lord, I want to know why Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. Please teach me.” Auspiciously, there came a time when the Lord taught me this Truth. While reading Matthew 3:13-17 on some occasion, God’s light of Truth came into my soul. I realized, “Oh! Now I get it! It was by being baptized by John the Baptist that Jesus fulfilled all the righteousness of God! When Jesus said, ‘Thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness,’ He meant that He would take upon all our sins by receiving His baptism in the form of the laying on of hands!”
The words “for thus” in Matthew 3:15 are “hoo’-tos gar” (οϋτως γάρ) in Greek, which mean “the most fitting,” or “no other way but this.” The phrase “all righteousness,” on the other hand, is written as “pasan dikaiosunen” (πάσαν δικαιοσύνην) in the Greek Bible, and this expression denotes a just righteousness that is legally flawless. Therefore, by receiving His baptism from John the Baptist, Jesus took upon the sins of mankind most justly, was crucified to death, rose from the dead again, and has thereby saved us all once and for all. God’s Word is exact in every aspect. The meaning of the Word of God is exact in both the original Scriptures and translated versions.

So it is by receiving His baptism from John that Jesus fulfilled the most righteous salvation for us. Didn’t He have to blot out your sins and mine in this way? If Jesus had said just in words, “I will shoulder all your sins,” died on the Cross, appeared later on, and asked, “Do you believe?” would such a salvation be of the wisdom of God? Or was it right for Him to take upon Himself all the sins of mankind, yours and mine alike, carry them to the Cross, be crucified and shed His blood to death, rise from the dead again, and save us the believers in the gospel of the water and the Spirit from all our sins? The Lord has given us the gospel Truth of the water and the Spirit that truly saves us from sin. God’s wisdom is forever right in us. The wisdom of God is approved for its rightness through “one Man’s act” that has fulfilled this just salvation.

The words “for thus” in Matthew 3:15 are “hoo’-tos gar” (οϋτως γάρ) in Greek, which mean “the most fitting,” or “no other way but this.” The phrase “all righteousness,” on the other hand, is written as “pasan dikaiosunen” (πάσαν δικαιοσύνην) in the Greek Bible, and this expression denotes a just righteousness that is legally flawless. Therefore, by receiving His baptism from John the Baptist, Jesus took upon the sins of mankind most justly, was crucified to death, rose from the dead again, and has thereby saved us all once and for all. God’s Word is exact in every aspect. The meaning of the Word of God is exact in both the original Scriptures and translated versions.
The baptism Jesus received from John the Baptist is the most righteous act that has saved people from sin. It was to do this righteous work, to save everyone from sin, that Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. To fulfill “one Man’s righteous act” (Romans 5:18), John the Baptist also played an important role. In other words, even though people today must be cast into hell as their hearts are sinful, our Lord bore all your sins and mine by being baptized by John the Baptist. So it is by receiving His baptism from John that Jesus fulfilled the most righteous salvation for us. The light of the knowledge of this Truth came into my soul while I was reading Matthew chapter three. What John the Baptist did when he came to this earth was absolutely not in vain, just as there was nothing futile in God’s righteous work that has saved us from all our sins. It was not in vain that Jesus took upon our sins by being baptized by John the Baptist, shed His blood to death on the Cross, and rose from the dead again.
Jesus said, “Wisdom is justified by her children.” Isn’t it then true that the Lord came to this earth and took upon Himself our sins by being baptized by John the Baptist? Didn’t He have to blot out your sins and mine in this way? If Jesus had said just in words, “I will shoulder all your sins,” died on the Cross, appeared later on, and asked, “Do you believe?” would such a salvation be of the wisdom of God? Or was it right for Him to take upon Himself all the sins of mankind, yours and mine alike, carry them to the Cross, be crucified and shed His blood to death, rise from the dead again, and save us the believers in the gospel of the water and the Spirit from all our sins? The Lord has given us the gospel Truth of the water and the Spirit that truly saves us from sin. God’s wisdom is forever right in us. The wisdom of God is approved for its rightness through “one Man’s act” that has fulfilled this just salvation.
Who Is Wise? Man or God?
The Bible says, “The foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men” (1 Corinthians 1:25). When we look at the baptism that God received for us, His death on the Cross, and His resurrection, we can see that God is indeed wise. When we say that God is truly wise, we say this on account of the gospel of the water and the Spirit that Jesus fulfilled on this earth. Yet despite this, most Christians do not believe in this wisdom of God.
God’s wisdom of salvation is perfect. The foolishness of God is better than the wisdom of men. Just how perfect is the wisdom with which God has saved us from sin? By raising His servant John the Baptist, God made him carry out the work of justly passing the sins of mankind onto His Son. In the Old Testament, the High Priest had passed all the yearly sins accumulated by the people of Israel to the sacrificial goat by laying his hands on its head (Leviticus 16:20-22). This was God’s amazing and wise method of salvation that had saved the Israelites from all their sins by fulfilling the just Law of God that says, “The wages of sin is death.” And this sacrificial system was a shadow of the good things to come (Hebrews 10:1). What an amazing and perfect Truth of salvation is it then, that Jesus Christ accepted the sins of the world through the baptism He received from John the Baptist? Isn’t this the Truth of justice and the merciful love of God?
Yet despite this, those who do not believe in this Truth say, “How can we have no sin when we still commit sin even now? We should all believe in Jesus, but we should do so in a way that’s compatible with our thoughts.” However, God has saved us perfectly from all our sins through a far more perfect and wiser method that is beyond our minds’ reach—that is, through the gospel of the water and the Spirit. This gospel of the water and the Spirit is untouchably amazing. But once we humbly begin to listen to the gospel Word, we can find out that it is far more logically consistent than the other man-made gospels.
God is not an inanimate idol, as if He were a stone. God is the King of wisdom, Truth, love, and justice. He is the King of love, the King of justice, and the King of Truth. God lacks nothing. Through the gospel Truth of the water and the Spirit, He has saved mankind from its sins so perfectly. Do you then believe in this Truth? I, for one, believe in it. However, the absolute majority of Christians do not believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit to be the Truth. Simply put, present-day Christianity is trapped in a terrible delusion. Christians today believe in the words of theologians more than the Word of the Bible. That is wrong, but even more importantly it is sin with a one-way ticket to hell.
We can understand all the ideas of Martin Luther, John Calvin, John Knox, Ulrich Zwingli, and David Livingston just by reading a few of their books. No matter how someone may have been acknowledged as the greatest theologian for hundreds of years, we can grasp his arguments quickly just by reading some of his books. And we can easily find out that his arguments are utterly useless. The Bible says, “Before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the LORD God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground; but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground” (Genesis 2:5-6). Likewise, for those who lack the tiller of the field of their hearts—that is, Jesus—their thoughts are nothing more than a mist. Such man-made thoughts disappear as soon as they are replaced by new theoretical conjectures. And every theory is abolished when Jesus shines the Word of Truth like the sun radiating its warmth all over the world.
No matter how elegantly anyone may have propounded on his theological ideas, unless the Word of God approves these ideas, all his arguments are in vain. And if it is written in the Word of God that John the Baptist is the representative of all mankind, then this Word is the Truth. The Word of the Scriptures writes clearly that in His wisdom, God sent John the Baptist to this earth and passed the sins of the world to Jesus. Through John the Baptist, Jesus accepted mankind’s sins once and for all, was crucified once, shed His blood to death, rose from the dead again, and has thereby become the everlasting Savior of those who believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit. If this is what’s written in the Bible, and if this is what the Bible says to us, then we should just believe it accordingly. This is where faith sprouts forth. If we believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit, we will be freed from all our sins.
Whoever believes in the gospel of the water and the Spirit will be saved from his sins. So why do you rely on the words of theologians, who are all human beings just like yourself? Are they really that smart? Didn’t Calvin, Luther, and all the other theologians propound on their own ideas? Some people also claim, “God spoke to me while I was praying,” or, “The Lord appeared in my vision and spoke to me.” But we must realize that apart from believing in the written Word of God, no experiential faith has any meaning. Even though our eyes do not see any visions and our ears do not hear any voices, as long as we affirm our salvation through the written Word of God, know what this Word is saying to us now, and realize that true salvation is reached by believing in the gospel of the water and the Spirit, then we have received the true remission of sin. Isn’t this the case?
The written Word of God says to us that the gospel of the water and the Spirit is the Truth. Despite this, however, many Christians still yearn after experiential faith. But when they testify to which they went to a mountain to pray and heard some strange sound there, is it the Truth that they are testifying? Christians must now realize clearly what heresy is. Heresy starts off similarly, but its end is different. Even though people claim to believe in Jesus as their Savior in order to be saved from their sins, their actual purpose is to attain the prosperity of this world and their own fame and health, rather than their salvation from sin. All Christians believe in Jesus, regardless of what may have led them to this, but some people have set their hearts on golden calves rather than Jesus, while for others, their hearts have been washed clean from their sins by believing in the gospel of the water and the Spirit. The latter are God’s children. They are one family with God. In contrast, those who have sin in their hearts even as they believe in Jesus do not belong to God’s family. That’s why Jesus calls such people heretics, saying to them, “You are different from Me.” And that is why they are heretics.

Anyone Who Has Sin in His Heart Even as He Believes in Jesus Is a Heretic
If anyone has sin in his heart now, then he is a heretic regardless of how long his family may have believed in Jesus, and even if he himself has believed in Jesus throughout his entire lifetime. Once in a while I watch Christian channels on TV, and I’ve seen so many ridiculous preachers. They are funnier than even comedians. That’s because I know all about the ideas they are propagating with their lies. Once I hear just a little bit of such so-called preacher’s sermons, I know what their denominations are and what ideas they are preaching, and so I can easily predict their next step. Most of them do not deviate that far from my expectations. Since theology is all that they learned in their seminary training, they only discuss theology and Christian doctrines, just as I speak about the gospel of the water and the Spirit everyday.
That’s the reality of today’s Christianity. There are many heretics in Christian communities who worship golden calves instead of God. That’s why Jesus said, “There are many on the broad way, but few on the narrow way. Because the narrow way is difficult, few find it, but it is the way to life. In contrast, the broad way is the way to destruction.” Even though countless people believe in Jesus, they just believe in the blood of the Cross alone. They believe in and follow the words of heretical leaders, who claim, “It’s normal for you to have sin in your heart even after believing in Jesus. It’s okay to have sin. You can solve this problem just by offering prayers of repentance.” As a result, they themselves have also become heretics, and they will all be destroyed by God. Once born, it is appointed for everyone to die once, but if his end is destruction, then he is the most wretched. This person, whose end is destruction, is completely hopeless.
Those who have been saved from all their sins, those who are following God, those who practice His righteousness and His wisdom by faith, and those who believe in and follow the gospel of the water and the Spirit—these are the wise people. I am so thankful to God. I am so grateful that whenever I speak while preaching the Word of God, I am speaking the Truth. I trust that you are also thankful to God. That’s because what you are hearing is the true Word, not a lie, nor something to kill time, but genuine. So shouldn’t you be all thankful? Are you grateful to hear the gospel of the water and the Spirit? I am sure that you all are thankful for this. If I were only discussing humanistic ethics and morals from the pulpit, you wouldn’t be able to hear the gospel Truth of the water and the Spirit with your ears. So how wonderful is it that you are now hearing the Word, and that your heart is inspired and quenched by this Word? You should realize just how happy you are.
Faith in the righteousness of God comes from hearing the Word of God. Faith is formed by hearing with your ears. That’s why the Bible says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). Therefore, a pastor must preach the Word of God to his congregation; only then do their hearts grow from hearing this Word. That is how you become a happy person.
Those who still have sin in their hearts even though they believe in Jesus have not been saved yet in God’s sight. I am not speaking to those outside Christianity, but to those inside Christian communities who profess to believe in Jesus. Although there now are countless famous people in Christian communities, they are living as heretics before God without even realizing it themselves. Apart from pastors, myriads of believers have also turned into heretics. I took a ride in a cab today, and while the cab driver was a Christian, upon closer examination, he was actually a heretic; one of my neighbors, a cleaner by profession, also believes in Jesus, but he is actually a heretic; a lady selling vegetables in the market is a Christian as well, but she, too, is a heretic; and even though there are many world-famous, great preachers, they are also heretics. So just how many heretics are around us?
God said that His wisdom is justified by her children. How did Jesus blot out our sins when He came to this earth? By being baptized by John the Baptist, Jesus bore our sins once and for all, and rising from the dead again after being crucified to death, He became our Savior. How wise is this? Is it wise or not? Isn’t it wise? Isn’t this the clear answer of salvation that becomes even clearer the more you hear it? Christians must believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit first. Today’s pastors just tell their congregation to believe in Jesus unconditionally, but can any of them really know the gospel of the water and the Spirit in this way? When Christians believe in Jesus without even knowing how He has saved them, what exactly do they believe in? Before we tell anyone to believe in Jesus, we must first explain clearly based on the Word exactly how Jesus has saved him. That is how we can really lead others to believe in Jesus.

How Wise Is It That John the Baptist Baptized Jesus and Jesus Received This Baptism from Him?
The baptism that John the Baptist gave to Jesus was ultimately a product of God’s wisdom. How amazing is God’s wisdom? If all the 6.5 billion people living on this earth were to pass their sins to Jesus by laying their hands individually on the head of Jesus, wouldn’t He then become bald? And if everyone had to lay his hands on Jesus’ head personally, then except for those who had lived in His time, no one would even have any opportunity to do this. Moreover, it would take over 190 years for 6 billion people to lay their hands on Jesus’ head in a row, even if each of them took only a second. However, in His wisdom, God fulfilled our perfect salvation through John the Baptist and Jesus. We believe in this. We believe that the sins of this world were passed onto Jesus through the baptism that John gave on His head.
Jesus said that wisdom is justified by her children. How wise was it then for the Lord to come to this earth and accept our sins once and for all by being baptized by John the Baptist? Wasn’t this amazingly wise? It was indeed truly wise, for God solved away the problem of sin once and for all with the principle of representation. John the Baptist, the representative of mankind, and Jesus the High Priest of the Kingdom of Heaven, met with each other in the Jordan River representing the human race and God. Jesus then said to John, “Baptize Me. I will accept your baptism and take upon Myself the sins of mankind,” and through this baptism, He bore the sins of the world. He was then crucified to shed His blood, and through all these things, He has saved us. Just how wise is this? Just how certain is it?
Is there anything more important in the Bible other than the gospel of the water and the Spirit? Although the Bible speaks of many other things, the gospel of the water and the Spirit is the core message of salvation. But people do not believe in this. Even though the history of Christianity spans almost 2,000 years, today’s Christians still say that they have been saved just by believing in Jesus’ blood on the Cross alone. But the gospel of the water and the Spirit says that this is not the case. So they protest, saying, “But countless people died after believing only in the blood of the Cross. Does this then mean that all these people went to hell?”
We should then say to them: “It’s not my business to know whether those people went to hell or not, but examined based on the written Word of God, they all clearly went to hell. What’s more important is whether or not there is any sin in your heart at the present. If you have sin, then you will be cast into hell. Do you claim to be sinless? Whom are you kidding? Of course you have sin! How can you not have sin, when you don’t even know that God in His wisdom bore your sins by being baptized by John the Baptist, far less by believing in this. The Bible says that your conscience will convict you if you have sin. The Truth of God, His Word, speaks to your heart: ‘Your sins still remain intact, you are bound to hell, and you are a child of the Devil.’”
We the believers in the gospel of the water and the Spirit are so thankful to God. We are so utterly grateful to Him. As we have now dealt with the issue of heresy on this occasion, we cannot help but thank God even more. How can we not thank Him, when we have been freed from heresy by believing in the gospel of the water and the Spirit? If you were a heretic before God, just how tortuous would it have been for you to sit here in this place? Once I begin something, I always make sure to compete it. So I will preach the Word until Christians all over the world admit that they belong to heresy and surrender to God. When such sermons on heresy are published and shared, Christians will come to realize from reading this book who is a heretic before God, and who is a true believer.
And the saints scattered around the world, who have received the remission of their sins by believing in the gospel of the water and the Spirit, will be strengthened and realize from reading this book, “Since I have been saved from my sins by believing according to the Word, I am a true believer before God, and all those who have stood against me for believing like this are heretics.” Won’t our saints then have compassion for these heretics and preach the gospel to them? Just because our saints have been born again, do they simply condemn heretics cruelly? No, they have compassion for everyone, even for heretics.
I am so thankful to God that I am not lying to you. I am also utterly grateful that I have become a true believer in His sight. Indeed, I cannot thank God enough for the fact that I have been saved by His wisdom, that I have reached my salvation thanks to His righteous act. Words cannot express just how grateful I am.
God has saved us perfectly from our sins through the gospel of the water and the Spirit. So whenever I think about it, I am overwhelmed by thankfulness. The salvation that you and I have received by believing in the gospel of the water and the Spirit with our hearts cannot be more assured. That’s why I am so thankful to God. No one else but the saints of the Early Church had received this kind of salvation. Once the Emperor Constantine recognized Christianity as the state religion of the Roman Empire, the spirituality of Christianity was completely destroyed. As the powerful emperor embraced Christianity only to further his own interest, the Christian faith was degraded into a means of success. Christianity was destroyed like this, all because Christians ended up replacing God with golden calves. It’s said that in the old Korean military, if a battalion commander attended church, then all the company leaders became Christians. The subordinate officers did anything and everything to please their superior officer, as they were afraid that they would otherwise be disadvantaged in their promotion.
However, it is God who moves the history of the world. Even though it may seem as if human beings are driving the history of the world, it is actually moved by God Himself. And I am sure that God will unfold the last stage of His plan for us in this age and time. That’s why we are devoting ourselves to the spreading of the gospel of the water and the Spirit, for we believe in this true gospel, and we are grateful to God for bringing it to us.
Those who do not believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit now are sinners before God. It is spiritually wrong for these people to still have sin in their hearts even as they believe in Jesus. So I hope and pray that they would all get up from their mistaken places, believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit instead, and thus receive their salvation. I ask them all to make up their minds now before the throne of God and to turn around from their heretic faith.
Jesus said that wisdom is justified by her children. How wise was it then for the Lord to come to this earth and accept our sins once and for all by being baptized by John the Baptist? Wasn’t this amazingly wise? It was indeed truly wise, for God solved away the problem of sin once and for all with the principle of representation. John the Baptist, the representative of mankind, and Jesus the High Priest of the Kingdom of Heaven, met with each other in the Jordan River representing the human race and God. Jesus then said to John, “Baptize Me. I will accept your baptism and take upon Myself the sins of mankind,” and through this baptism, He bore the sins of the world. He was then crucified to shed His blood, and through all these things, He has saved us. Just how wise is this? Just how certain is it?
Is there anything more important in the Bible other than the gospel of the water and the Spirit? Although the Bible speaks of many other things, the gospel of the water and the Spirit is the core message of salvation. But people do not believe in this. Even though the history of Christianity spans almost 2,000 years, today’s Christians still say that they have been saved just by believing in Jesus’ blood on the Cross alone. But the gospel of the water and the Spirit says that this is not the case. So they protest, saying, “But countless people died after believing only in the blood of the Cross. Does this then mean that all these people went to hell?”
We should then say to them: “It’s not my business to know whether those people went to hell or not, but examined based on the written Word of God, they all clearly went to hell. What’s more important is whether or not there is any sin in your heart at the present. If you have sin, then you will be cast into hell. Do you claim to be sinless? Whom are you kidding? Of course you have sin! How can you not have sin, when you don’t even know that God in His wisdom bore your sins by being baptized by John the Baptist, far less by believing in this. The Bible says that your conscience will convict you if you have sin. The Truth of God, His Word, speaks to your heart: ‘Your sins still remain intact, you are bound to hell, and you are a child of the Devil.’”
We the believers in the gospel of the water and the Spirit are so thankful to God. We are so utterly grateful to Him. As we have now dealt with the issue of heresy on this occasion, we cannot help but thank God even more. How can we not thank Him, when we have been freed from heresy by believing in the gospel of the water and the Spirit? If you were a heretic before God, just how tortuous would it have been for you to sit here in this place? Once I begin something, I always make sure to compete it. So I will preach the Word until Christians all over the world admit that they belong to heresy and surrender to God. When such sermons on heresy are published and shared, Christians will come to realize from reading this book who is a heretic before God, and who is a true believer.
And the saints scattered around the world, who have received the remission of their sins by believing in the gospel of the water and the Spirit, will be strengthened and realize from reading this book, “Since I have been saved from my sins by believing according to the Word, I am a true believer before God, and all those who have stood against me for believing like this are heretics.” Won’t our saints then have compassion for these heretics and preach the gospel to them? Just because our saints have been born again, do they simply condemn heretics cruelly? No, they have compassion for everyone, even for heretics.
I am so thankful to God that I am not lying to you. I am also utterly grateful that I have become a true believer in His sight. Indeed, I cannot thank God enough for the fact that I have been saved by His wisdom, that I have reached my salvation thanks to His righteous act. Words cannot express just how grateful I am.
God has saved us perfectly from our sins through the gospel of the water and the Spirit. So whenever I think about it, I am overwhelmed by thankfulness. The salvation that you and I have received by believing in the gospel of the water and the Spirit with our hearts cannot be more assured. That’s why I am so thankful to God. No one else but the saints of the Early Church had received this kind of salvation. Once the Emperor Constantine recognized Christianity as the state religion of the Roman Empire, the spirituality of Christianity was completely destroyed. As the powerful emperor embraced Christianity only to further his own interest, the Christian faith was degraded into a means of success. Christianity was destroyed like this, all because Christians ended up replacing God with golden calves. It’s said that in the old Korean military, if a battalion commander attended church, then all the company leaders became Christians. The subordinate officers did anything and everything to please their superior officer, as they were afraid that they would otherwise be disadvantaged in their promotion.
However, it is God who moves the history of the world. Even though it may seem as if human beings are driving the history of the world, it is actually moved by God Himself. And I am sure that God will unfold the last stage of His plan for us in this age and time. That’s why we are devoting ourselves to the spreading of the gospel of the water and the Spirit, for we believe in this true gospel, and we are grateful to God for bringing it to us.
Those who do not believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit now are sinners before God. It is spiritually wrong for these people to still have sin in their hearts even as they believe in Jesus. So I hope and pray that they would all get up from their mistaken places, believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit instead, and thus receive their salvation. I ask them all to make up their minds now before the throne of God and to turn around from their heretic faith.
